Scooter shops that only sell gas scooters need those machines to break down so they can charge you to fix it ! Same reason Detroit doesn't build electric cars. It would collapse their parts and repair business. I have been told directly by a local scooter dealer that I was trying to sign up, that " our store will not and can not sell electric because our main business is repairs and parts sales."
